Abstract

Educational diagnosis and assessment are important tools used in educational processes to determine students’ learning status and needs, to organize teaching methods accordingly, and to evaluate student achievement. With this tool, detailed examination and research are conducted about individuals. In this context, it can be considered an important stage that provides informative insights about the student. Educational diagnosis examines students’ current knowledge and skill levels in detail, and this information is used by teachers to develop individualized educational strategies for each student. This process also enables the early identification of students with special educational needs. Educational assessment, on the other hand, consists of systematic evaluations carried out during and at the end of the learning process to measure students’ progress.
